WATERCOLOR MEDITATIONS

I experimented with Doc Ph Martin, Prang and Dylusions watercolors.  They all performed beautifully, but my personal choice would be the Doc Martins - they provide more options as to color density, mixing ability and dense colors.  I used Strathmore Series 400 Mixed Media paper 184 lb. - very sturdy with a vellum surface.  I prefer it to watercolor paper - the only watercolor paper I like is hot press for a much smoother surface.
